Olivia KingGuest-Facing Intern - Front Desk & Concierge
Olivia grew up in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, where time outside was part of daily life. She spent her early years exploring trails behind her house, digging in the dirt for bugs and taking regular trips with her family to a farmhouse in the Great Smoky Mountains. Summers there were filled with rafting, kayaking, hiking and swimming in cold mountain rivers. That rhythm—between home and the outdoors—shaped her sense of place early on.
She holds a degree in hospitality and tourism management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. As an undergraduate, Olivia worked as a programming assistant at the Malcolm X Cultural Center and as a peer advisor in the Office of Global Affairs. In spring 2024, she studied abroad in Cyprus and spent three weeks afterward traveling across Europe. Cliff jumping in Croatia and hiking in Bulgaria were highlights.
Before joining Natural Habitat Adventures, Olivia interned on Martha’s Vineyard as a front desk attendant, where she gained experience in seasonal hospitality. This is her first post-grad role, and she brings curiosity, adaptability and a background in travel and guest services.
Now based in Thornton, Colorado, she spends time hiking, biking and playing beach volleyball. She also enjoys downtime reading, journaling or watching movies. A recent trip to Yosemite sparked a growing interest in visiting more national parks, and she’s already planning what’s next.
