Born and raised in southern Indiana, Liv developed an early curiosity about the wider world that shaped her path toward travel and cross-cultural experiences. While studying education at Indiana University, she took her first major step abroad by teaching English in Tanzania. Spending a month immersed in daily life there proved formative, reinforcing her desire to explore new places and connect meaningfully with people and environments beyond her home country.

After earning her degree, Liv began her career in elementary education, where she honed skills in organization, communication and adaptability. Yet her interest in travel continued to grow. A trip to Peru with her sister, which included time in the Amazon rainforest, a hike up Rainbow Mountain and a visit to Machu Picchu, clarified that exploration and global engagement would remain central to her professional goals.

Liv later relocated to Denver and joined EF Educational Tours, where she combined logistics, customer support and travel planning while helping others pursue educational adventures abroad. Through this role, she gained experience coordinating complex travel details and supporting travelers throughout the planning process. She was drawn to Natural Habitat Adventures for its focus on conservation and purpose-driven nature travel and joined the company as an Operations Coordinator in 2025. She is excited to support Nat Hab travelers as they experience the world’s most extraordinary wild places.

Liv’s travels include camping on safari in Tanzania, hiking volcanoes in Ecuador, exploring the Peruvian Amazon, snorkeling with sea lions in the Galapagos and tackling a via ferrata in the Swiss Alps.
