Caitlin MooreSenior Operations Coordinator – Europe & Latin America
Caitlin grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she relished living a stone’s throw from nature. After studying psychology at the University of Washington, she was compelled to explore the nooks and crannies of the world. It began innocently enough: a month-long trip to Europe. As it so often does, this spiraled into a life of adventurous travel.
She spent three months in Costa Rica, hopped over to Peru, saw the northern lights in Iceland and eventually landed in Southeast Asia, where she lived off-and-on in Indonesia for two years. During her forays abroad, she developed a deep admiration for the natural world and for protecting the wild animals within it. She returned to Seattle to set roots in the shadow of evergreens but couldn’t escape travel’s allure. Compromising, she became an expedition advisor for a small travel company, where she helped others discover the wildest parts of the planet—and got to see these remote places for herself. She sailed the Amazon River, fell in love with the walrus of Svalbard, and met the fierce and sassy Adelie penguin in Antarctica. In 2024, Caitlin joined the Nat Hab team as an Operations Coordinator.
After traveling to all seven continents, her favorite travel memories include a two-week solo road trip through Slovenia in the dead of winter, walking the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain, experiencing Antarctica, and circumnavigating Mont Blanc. Between travels, you can find her reading, backpacking, doing pottery or attempting to finish the crossword. As a writer, she also delights in sharing travel stories and resources on her website, Moore Misadventures.
