Francisco "Paco" Di PoiAdventure Director - Latin America
Born in Buenos Aires, Francisco “Paco” got his first taste of international life at age 4 when his family moved from Argentina to New York City. Though he grew up in an urban setting, he always felt a pull toward the outdoors. That connection deepened when his family relocated to suburban Connecticut, giving him access to forests, rivers and rock walls. A return trip to Argentina in 7th grade sparked his passion for travel—a spark that’s taken him around the world.
Francisco holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and has worked in K–12 education, international travel and as a soccer and tennis coach. In 2012, his love of rock climbing led him to Colorado, where he shifted careers and began guiding. He later joined a travel company focused on service-based adventure trips for teens and eventually became country director in Costa Rica, overseeing operations, marketing and trip leadership in Central America. That experience gave him a deep understanding of logistics, group travel and cross-cultural engagement—skills he now brings to his role in Operations at Nat Hab.
Francisco lives in Boulder with his wife, Aisa, and son. They tend a communal garden, hike and camp often and are always experimenting in the kitchen. He’s also a devoted soccer player and climber. Favorite travel memories include hiking Kauai’s Na Pali Coast, rappelling into a Haitian bat cave, snorkeling with sharks in Panama and riding with gauchos in Argentina.
