Jessica grew up in Athens, Georgia, where she played softball and basketball throughout her childhood. Between sporting events and seasons, her family loved to adventure outside. Summertime consisted of long days on the lake and camping in the North Georgia mountains. Winter brought the pursuit of skiing in Colorado or finding somewhere tropical to scuba dive.

Jessica attended college at the University of Kentucky. During her time as a student, she studied abroad twice, spending a summer in Fiji and a Semester at Sea visiting 12 countries. These international experiences ignited her passion for travel. After graduating, she spent a summer backpacking through Europe before heading west to Denver, where she has lived since 2015. She's learned to love all the outdoor adventures her adopted home state has to offer.

Jessica began her career in public accounting and obtained her CPA in 2019. Her background in accounting with a focus on auditing and consulting prepared her for a leading role on Natural Habitat's finance team. She is thrilled to have found a workplace setting where her professional experience intersects with her enthusiasm for discovering the world.
