Nancy grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where exploring the woods behind her home sparked a lasting curiosity about what lies around the next turn. She earned a B.S. in business with a focus in consumer affairs from the University of Missouri in Columbia. Her studies emphasized understanding customer needs, clear communication and dependable service.

After returning to St. Louis for her early career, Nancy and her husband moved to Melbourne, Australia, around their first wedding anniversary. While living abroad, she worked and traveled throughout Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. She later made Boulder, Colorado her home base, where she has lived since 1998, aside from a period living in Singapore.

Nancy began working with Natural Habitat Adventures as a Field Operations Specialist and became a Fulfillment Specialist in 2023. In her current role, she supports trip logistics and traveler materials, helping ensure each departure is well organized and on track. She also works occasionally with friends at the Boulder Olive Oil Shop. Nancy and her husband have three children and have raised their family with an active outdoor lifestyle that includes camping, skiing and hiking. She loves to travel, read and cook, and she enjoys cross-country skiing and hiking with friends, family and her dog.
