Carol was born and raised in Texas. Her career began in marketing, public relations and event planning for a national franchise, but following a trip to Colorado, she realized she was living in the wrong place and set out to find a new adventure in the mountains. Relocating to the Aspen area, Carol worked mostly in the tourism industry and fell in love with nature, the outdoors and travel. Later she moved to Boulder, where she worked in the nonprofit sector. Carol was able to fulfill her lifelong dream of working with horses, and this became her career focus for many years. One of her favorite travel memories is riding a horse on the beach on an island off the coast of Scotland. Other travel highlights so far include snorkeling in the Caribbean, hiking to the base camp of Cotopaxi in Ecuador, seeing whales in Iceland, and taking in the beautiful views from the trail along the Cinque Terre in Italy. Carol has always loved planning trips for her family and friends, so being an Adventure Concierge at Nat Hab is a natural fit. She believes that life is about experiences, and she brings that enthusiasm to her job. She lives in Boulder with her husband, Drew, and her dog, Cleo.
