Meet the Scientists
This project is led by two scientists whose research explores the complex relationships among wildlife, vegetation and human activity in South Africa’s Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. One studies how large mammal grazing shapes landscapes and how working rangelands connect fragmented wildlife habitats, while the other focuses on monitoring wildlife populations. Their work provides valuable insights into the ecological processes that sustain healthy savannas and informs conservation strategies to protect South Africa’s wildlife and ecosystems for generations to come.
