Our Commitment to Inclusivity
At Earthwatch Expeditions, we believe conservation is strongest when more people are part of it, and that participation should be open to everyone. We are committed to creating an environment where all people feel welcome, respected and able to fully participate, and we do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Our expeditions are grounded in professionalism, safety and mutual respect, with clear expectations that both staff and participants uphold these standards so that every individual feels supported and valued in the field.
We work to remove barriers to participation and foster experiences where people feel a sense of belonging from the moment they arrive. No prior scientific experience is required—only curiosity, openness and a willingness to engage. We welcome people of all identities and perspectives, recognizing that conservation efforts are stronger, more relevant and more effective when they reflect the diversity of the world they seek to understand and protect.
