Sierra MooreEarthwatch Expeditions Adventure Specialist
Sierra grew up in a small town in Maine, where she developed a love and appreciation for the outdoors that’s shaped both her professional and personal lives. She graduated with a degree in International Economics from Bryant University in Rhode Island, where she also minored in French and management.
In 2019, Sierra joined the Peace Corps and moved to Togo, an experience that left a lasting mark on how she sees her work and the world. It was also where she met her husband. Her service came to an early end in 2020 during the global COVID-19 evacuation.
For three years, she worked on the sales team at Earthwatch before joining Nat Hab in 2026 for a similar role in sales on the Earthwatch Expeditions by Nat Hab team. She enjoys supporting environmental programs and helping connect people with conservation efforts around the world. Sierra excels at building relationships and expanding access to hands-on research and field experiences.
After five years in Texas, she and her husband moved to Baltimore, Maryland, in 2025, where they live with their cat, Gnome. In her free time, Sierra enjoys kayaking, biking and watching movies.
