Growing up in Munich, Germany, Karin spent her summer vacations camping with her family by the Mediterranean Sea and skiing the Alps in winter. After exploring much of Europe in her youth, Karin cultivated a love for travel and foreign cultures that prompted her to pursue a career in the travel industry. On a solo backpacking trip through Thailand, she met her future husband. Upon visiting his hometown, she fell in love with beautiful Boulder, Colorado, and moved there in 1999. She’s worked in travel ever since, helping clients follow their passions to remote destinations and arrive with ease, thanks to her expertise as an air travel specialist. In her spare time, Karin enjoys mountain biking, hiking and skiing. She also volunteers at a local rehabilitation center for injured and orphaned wildlife. Karin still loves to travel, especially to Southeast Asia and back home to Europe. In 2015 Karin joined a Nat Hab trip to Churchill where she fulfilled a lifelong dream of seeing polar bears. Since then she has added Peru, Brazil, Japan, Kenya and Botswana to that list.
