Caroline DunnEarhtwatch Expeditions Senior Adventure Director
Growing up in the southeast corner of Rhode Island, Caroline spent much of her childhood outside exploring the woods and beaches. These early encounters made her fall in love with the natural world and fostered a lasting appreciation for the wild.
After earning an undergraduate degree in psychology and Hispanic studies from Wheaton College, Caroline lived abroad in Latin America. She led educational outdoor programs in various countries, including Peru, Costa Rica and Ecuador. She later returned to New England to earn her master’s degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University with a focus on international service learning.
Caroline is committed to connecting people and places in meaningful ways. After spending more than a decade with Earthwatch Institute, where she designed and led international research expeditions, she joined Earthwatch Expeditions by Nat Hab in 2026. By connecting people with scientists and conservation efforts around the globe, she brings together her passions for travel, education and the natural world.
Caroline loves to travel and is happiest when planning her next trip. She lives in Rhode Island and still finds plenty to explore in this tiny ocean state. When she’s not working, she enjoys water sports, yoga, staying active at the gym, reading and cooking.
