Meet the Scientists
This project is led by three scientists whose work spans wildlife, vegetation and entire landscapes—each offering a distinct perspective on how the savanna functions and how it can recover. One focuses on animal behavior and movement in human-impacted environments, another on restoring plant communities and rebuilding ecosystems, and the third on long-term conservation across East Africa’s landscapes. Together, they provide a rare, full-picture view of the system—and a chance to see conservation in action at every scale.
