Sherry is a geographer, naturalist and writer who has worked in national and regional parks and as the Interpretation specialist for B.C. Parks. She has run her own business in the field of interpretation, worked with the renowned Royal British Columbia Museum and spent the last 30 years exploring the west coast. She is the principal author of Carmanah: Artistic Visions of an Ancient Rainforest, the art book that helped raise awareness and eventually protect the Carmanah Valley, and has taught environmental stewardship in several colleges. Sherry believes that learning and fun are great partners and you may even catch her doing some gumboot dancing! She is also a musician and photographer with a passion for travel and leads tours around the world.
