Kristine Benoit

Kristine was born in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York and spent her childhood playing in the woods behind her nana’s house. Skiing, sledding, hiking and mountain biking were favorite pastimes that sparked her love of the outdoors. Kristine attended college at the University of Central Florida with a degree in English and History. She then decided to enter a world of magic by completing a Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World Resort. Following a master’s program in Library Science at Florida State University, Kristine worked as a youth services librarian in historic St. Augustine before returning to Disney for a full-time role in vacation planning and ticketing.

Wanderlust finally caught up with Kristine while working at Disney, which allowed her to work with people from all over the world, including Morocco and Tunisia. Her first international (and solo!) trip was to Ireland, and she hasn’t stopped traveling since. She seeks out state and national parks and experiences unique to the areas she travels. Some of her favorite memories are e-biking in the Galty Mountains of Ireland and seeing alligators up close in Lake Okeechobee, Florida.

Kristine loves to read in her free time and always has a book or two with her wherever she goes. She also enjoys running, planning future trips and gardening. She lives in Central Florida with her two human best friends and her cats, Beatrice and Virgil.
