David Jacobson

David studied at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University, earning a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and master’s degrees in business administration and accounting. His first post-college job was as a general ledger accountant at Grand Canyon University. From there he moved on a senior accountant position at a restaurant chain, but when he discovered Natural Habitat Adventures and saw the company's passion for conservation and exploration, he knew that this was where he was destined to work. With persistence, he was hired as an accountant on Nat Hab's finance team, truly a dream job bringing together his skills, training and personal values.
David moved to Colorado with his wife and two children in 2018 and loves the active lifestyle that attracts many to the state. From hiking Colorado's famous "14ers" to solo backpacking trips, David tries to get out into wild nature as often as he can. He recently added road cycling and mountain biking to his outdoor hobbies. His other passion is basketball. Growing up in Arizona, he had to find something active to do indoors during the hot summers, and he fell in love with the game. When David isn't in the mountains, you can often find him at a local park shooting hoops. He is also looking forward to exploring more of the world with Nat Hab, having already traveled through the southwest U.S., Canada, Mexico, Belize and the Bahamas.
