Nat Hab’s Boreal Lounge

The Boreal Lounge, set in the thick boreal forest outside Churchill, is our largest private aurora-viewing site, a warm and welcoming retreat for relaxed evenings under the northern lights. Exclusively for the use of our guests, this two-story heated tower offers a sweeping view of the night sky from thoughtfully crafted indoor spaces designed for our comfort. A striking glass-domed roof crowns the structure, showcasing a unobstructed view of the light show overhead.

On the first floor, a cozy lounge is warmed by a wood-burning stove, and plush couches layered with wool blankets invite settling in as we wait for the aurora to appear, keeping an eye out through the expansive windows. A fully stocked kitchen holds drinks and snacks. Upstairs, the second level is devoted entirely to aurora viewing, offering a superb view when the lights dance directly overhead. Prefer an unimpeded view in the brisk fresh air? Step onto the spacious elevated deck that extends from the first floor, providing a secure and comfortable spot for outdoor viewing and photography.
