Nat Hab's Aurora Cabin
We reach Nat Hab's private Aurora Cabin via snowcoach, traveling over a frozen creek deep into the boreal forest. Tucked among the spruce trees, the wooden cabin is heated by a wood stove, creating a warm space to step in from the cold as we wait for the northern lights to appear. The cozy interior is furnished with chairs, warm blankets, and side tables to hold snacks and hot and cold beverages. A bathroom is provided inside the cabin. Outside, a fire pit offers a spot to warm hands and roast marshmallows for s'mores. There's also a small curling rink and hockey net, plus a walking path through the forest where we might see winter wildlife.
