Weather & Climate in Alaska
Alaska's weather can vary widely across the state. Summers are often mild and cool, with warmer temperatures in the interior. From spring to early fall, coastal Alaska experiences more days of rain, and the weather in the mountains is often unpredictable. While in this rugged land, it is best to come prepared for anything!
The weather pages below are specific to Nat Hab's different Alaska itineraries. Alaska Grizzly Encounter: Kodiak to Katmai takes place in Katmai National Park from June to September, the Ultimate Alaska Wildlife Safari explores many of the state's national parks and reserves and occurs from June through August, Nat Hab's Alaska Bear Camp takes place in Lake Clark National Park from May through August, and Alaska Fat Bear Photo Expedition is in September.
