Animals are creative adaptors to their surroundings. From acute senses to astounding camouflage to amazing agility, they seem to make the best of any environment they find themselves in. In fact, we are often inspired to copy their solutions to problems in order to conquer challenges of our own. Many times, however, that adaptability is hard-won.

For example, take the basic act of getting a drink of water. Watch below as two animals—a wild elephant from Africa and a domestic cat from the United States—deal with the matter of how best to quench a thirst.
