Group Size
A very important feature of our Morocco adventure is the limited group size, as nature expeditions are best experienced with fewer travelers for a more peaceful and personalized experience with less impact. Also, a small group allows us to experience the intimate hospitality of the historic and local lodges where we stay.
Take this trip on a private basis, traveling exclusively with your immediate family, multi-generational family or group of friends.
Included
Accommodations, services of Terra & Tu's professional Expedition Leader, local guides and lodge staff, all activities, all meals from dinner on Day 1 through breakfast on final day, some gratuities, airport transfers for those arriving by air on Day 1 and final day, all activities and entrance fees, all taxes, permits and service fees.
Not Included
Travel to and from the start and end point of your trip, most alcoholic beverages, gratuities for Expedition Leaders, passport and visa fees (if any), optional activities, items of a personal nature (phone calls, laundry, etc.), international airline baggage fees, airport and departure taxes (if any), required medical evacuation insurance, optional travel protection insurance.
Important Information About This Trip
Travel in Morocco is primarily done by road, as domestic flights can be unreliable and are not the most practical way to connect the regions included on this itinerary. Driving also allows for flexibility and meaningful stops in smaller, less touristed communities along the way—particularly through the High Atlas, the Draa Valley, and the oasis towns of the south. While a few travel days will be long and include extended road transfers, the itinerary is intentionally paced to balance these distances with multiple-night stays, helping maximize the time spent on the ground in each location once you arrive.
Getting There & Getting Home
We recommend arriving in Marrakesh the night before Day 1 so you can rest from your travels and begin the trip refreshed. Guests arriving on Day 1 must reach Marrakesh in time to meet your Expedition Leader and fellow travelers at the group hotel in time for a welcome orientation at 6 pm.
You may depart Marrakesh any time after 1 pm on the final day.
