Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Visit four locations over eight days
Early mornings and late nights are scheduled to allow maximum opportunity for sunrise, sunset and dark sky viewing
Travelers must be able to hike 3 miles unassisted along a variety of terrains and should expect to hike a total of 2-5 miles most days
Hikes range from 1-3 miles each; travelers should expect 3-6 hours of physical activity daily
Terrain includes dirt and rock trails with uneven terrain, steep inclines, and muddy or slippery surfaces in hot, dry, high-altitude conditions
Activities take place at higher altitudes, where even basic exertion may feel more strenuous
Alternative activities are not available for travelers who choose to opt out of the scheduled hikes
Travelers should be physically independent and able to maintain balance in order to participate in the planned activities on the itinerary
A highlight hike is the Queens Garden and Navajo Loop in Bryce Canyon which covers 3 miles and 630 feet of elevation gain along a steep decline and incline

Travelers should be prepared to enter and exit the vehicle multiple times daily, depending on scenery and wildlife
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Daytime temps range from 50–90°F, depending on season and location
Overnight temps can drop below freezing, depending on season
Higher elevations (8,000+ ft.) in Bryce and Grand Canyon are colder with possible thunderstorms
Elevation ranges from 3,000 to 9,000 feet
