Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Two long transfer days
Day 5: Transfer from Argentina to Chile (5–7 hours with border crossing, lunch, and stops for wildlife and restrooms)
Day 8: Four-hour transfer from Cerro Guido to Patagonia Camp with scenic stops
Hikes range from 1 mile on flat, uneven terrain to 4–6 miles with inclines
Trails can be uneven, slippery and muddy
Travelers must be able to navigate trails with inclines
Longer hikes over 10 miles are available at Patagonia Camp but are rarely chosen
Travel by private bus and Sprinter van
Two boat rides on Lago Argentino to Estancia Cristina and Perito Moreno
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Travelers must be fully mobile and physically independent
Travelers must have good balance and be able to navigate uneven trails with inclines
Daytime temps range from 40–70°F, depending on weather and time of year
Overnight temps can drop below freezing
Weather is highly variable—can shift quickly from warm and sunny to cold, windy, or snowy
Snow is possible in November and March–April; less likely but still possible Dec–Feb
Extremely strong winds are common
