Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Travelers must be able to walk at least 2 miles unassisted along a variety of sometimes challenging terrain
Hikes can range from 2-6 miles. There are opportunities to hike farther distances or shorten the hikes based on your hiking ability and desires. To experience the options of trails fully, travelers should be able to hike at least 3-4 miles at an interpretive pace
Trails can be uneven, slippery and muddy
Travelers must be able to navigate trails with inclines
Longer hikes over 10 miles are available during our time at Patagonia Camp
Travel by private minibus, 4x4 vehicles, sprinter vans, and boats

One on Lago Argentino to Estancia Cristina
One private boat tour to see the Perito Moreno Glacier
Transport is mostly on paved roads, with some well maintained dirt roads and sometimes rough off-road terrain (Estancia Cristina)
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Travelers must have good balance, mobility, and be in good physical health
Travelers must be able to independently navigate uneven trails with inclines
Daytime temps range from 40–70°F, depending on weather and time of year
Overnight temps can drop below freezing, especially early or late in the season
Weather is highly variable—can shift quickly from warm and sunny to cold, windy, or snowy
Snow is possible during this Photo Expedition as the trips take place in the fall
Extremely strong winds are common
Despite Patagonia being a mountainous environment, this itinerary does not spend any time at elevation
