Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Walks range from 1-2 miles and take place at Araras Lodge and Caiman Lodge. There are minimal walking options in Porto Jofre

Terrain includes mostly flat, dirt or gravel trails, and some uneven ground.
Due to proximity to dangerous wildlife, there are minimal options for extended walks; most of the trip is sedentary, with several 3-4 hour wildlife outings sitting in boats or safari vehicles
Travel by private mini bus, sprinter van, commercial flights, private charter flights, private boat, and 4x4 safari vehicle

Travelers must be fully mobile and physically independent
Travelers should be prepared for multiple boat excursions lasting two to four hours
Daytime temps range from 90–100+°F, increasing from May through October
Morning and evening temps in May through early August can dip to 40°F
Early season safaris can be very cold; late season is consistently hot during the day
