Women in the Wild
Interested in a nature encounter exclusively in the company of women? Where you can relax and be yourself, push your comfort envelope as much or as little as you wish, and learn from outstanding female naturalist guides, in the world's most wondrous wild places? That's what you'll find on our Women in the Wild series.
With a focus on experiencing nature through a female lens, we learn about intrepid women who have long been leaders in global exploration, entrepreneurship and science, playing integral roles in understanding and protecting nature—and we'll hear in depth about their contributions in the places we visit. As WWF’s conservation travel partner, we are acutely aware that sustainable local communities are essential to preserving nature—and women from Africa to the Arctic carry the torch for protecting environments that sustain not only their families, but also endangered species like tigers, polar bears and wolves.
Empowering women begins with sharing their stories. And there’s no better context in which to show and tell those stories than by taking inquisitive female travelers into settings where they can learn about women's accomplishments as they walk in other women’s footsteps.
Our Women in the Wild departures offer big, meaningful adventures in Earth's wildest places, in a supportive, caring and inclusive female context. From the Canadian Arctic to India's tiger reserves, from Yellowstone's plains to the African bush, check out our slate of expeditions just for women:
