No adventure to India would be complete without a chance to view its most storied cultural treasure, the fabulous Taj Mahal. Our Agra extension includes two visits to the monument to capitalize on early-morning and late-day light. Agra is also famous for its magisterial Red Fort, the 16th-century walled city built of red sandstone that was the center of the Mughal Empire for many decades before it was moved back to Delhi.
