Agra & the Taj Mahal Extension

As this is an optional extension, group size may vary, but is limited to 6 or 8 travelers.

Accommodations, services of Nat Hab's professional Expedition Leader, local guide and driver, all meals from dinner on Day 1 through lunch on final day, most gratuities, still camera fees, airport transfer on final day, all activities and entrance fees, all taxes, permits and service fees.

Alcoholic beverages, items of a personal nature (phone calls, laundry, Internet, etc.), fees for video cameras at the Taj Mahal monument and gratuities.

Easy
This extension does not require a high degree of physical fitness, although travelers must be able to walk unassisted (without the use of walking aids) at a steady pace for two miles over uneven terrain, as well as climb multiple stairs at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. This extension also involves a long drive (5+ hours). Although we avoid the hottest part of the day during outings, note that daily temperatures may exceed 110°F.

On this extension our primary focus is visiting and photographing India’s most famous cultural monuments. Local guides will escort us during our daily excursions.

Begin your India Tiger Safari extension with an overnight in Delhi on Day 1, including dinner, after flying in from either Guwahati or Nagpur. On Day 2, you will travel by private van from Delhi to Agra to continue your extension. After your time in Agra, you will return to Delhi, where an overnight room will be available for you. You may schedule your departing flight from Delhi any time after 8 pm on the final day of the extension.
