Group Size
A key element of this trip is the small group size, which allows us to access places and experiences larger groups can't. With a maximum of 12 travelers, we're able to foster meaningful connections with the people we meet and the places we encounter, while keeping our impact lighter. The intimate group size also opens the door to more personal experiences—from visits with artisans and Indigenous families in northern Argentina to time with gauchos, food producers and vintners who share a deeper sense of Argentina's culture, traditions and daily life.
Take this trip on a private basis, traveling exclusively with your immediate family, multi-generational family or group of friends.

Important Information About This Trip
There are a few drives in Northern Argentina that are a bit long to get from Jujuy to Purmamarca, and then to Salta to fly to Mendoza. There is also a scenic, longer drive to the Salt Flats in northern Argentina, broken up with strategic stops for stunning views, meals, and bathroom breaks. Almost all travel in Morocco is done by road, as flights within the country are incredibly unreliable.
Traveling by road lets us stop at less-touristed places and offers a deeper opportunity for cultural immersion.
While some travel days will be long and involve long road transfers, the itinerary is designed to maximize your time spent in each place.
Mandatory Insurance
Since the areas we travel to are remote and wild (that's why we go there!), we require that all guests have, at minimum, medical evacuation insurance for this program. This is for the safety of all guests. We require that your chosen independent insurance plan includes at least $250,000 in medical evacuation coverage.
To protect your investment and to provide peace of mind while you travel, we also strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance. Plans may cover everything from medical treatment to trip cancellations and delays and lost luggage. Please contact our office if you would like more information about the medical evacuation and comprehensive travel insurance policies we offer by calling 800-543-8917.
