    Sep 20, 2017 · WWF

As a life-long Alaskan, Katmai National Park has always held a magical place in my heart. It was a land of volcanoes, bears, salmon, and green mountains plunging towards the sea. This summer, I had the opportunity to make my dream a reality with Nat Hab’s Great Alaskan Grizzly Encounter.

Rushing into a World without Gray Wolves or Grizzly Bears

    Apr 11, 2017 · Candice Gaukel Andrews

Grizzly bears and wolves. Other than bison, does America have any mammals more representative of our nation? Unfortunately for them, grizzly bears and wolves are predators, and that sets them apart from bison. It also sets them up to be on the receiving end of some of our most heinous laws and regulations. Contrary World: Science Education, Pipelines and Wildlife

    Mar 7, 2017 · Candice Gaukel Andrews

Now, when I wake up in the mornings, I feel as if I’m just about to step foot into a truly either-or, binary-only, black-or-white, contrary world; a world where every advance forward in science or in caring for the natural world and each other must be accompanied by a major step to the rear.

    Forever Killing Wolves

    Oct 4, 2016 · Candice Gaukel Andrews

This is the dirty fact I’ve come to recognize: we humans won’t allow wolves to live on our planet. We won’t stop until the last one of them is gone. If you don’t believe me, look at what’s happening in our own country. Then, look around the world.

    The Sounds of Yellowstone

    Sep 26, 2016 · Emily Deemer

I should begin by saying I hate the cold and do everything in my power to avoid it. My Midwest roots, however, have taught me one thing: layer up! So, with that in mind, I headed out the door to go join Natural Habitat Adventure’s Yellowstone: Ultimate Wolf and Wildlife Safari.
