Agra & the Taj Mahal Extension

As this is an optional extension, group size may vary, but is limited to 11 travelers.

Accommodations, services of a local guide and driver, all meals from dinner on Day 1 through lunch on final day, some gratuities, still camera fees, VIP airport departure service, airport transfer on final day, all activities and entrance fees, all taxes, permits and service fees.

Alcoholic beverages, items of a personal nature (phone calls, laundry, etc.), fees for video cameras at the Taj Mahal monument and gratuities for your local guide.

Easy
This extension does not require a high degree of physical fitness, although travelers must be able to walk unassisted (without the use of walking aids) at a steady pace for two miles over uneven terrain, as well as climb multiple stairs at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. This extension also involves a long drive (5+ hours). Although we avoid the hottest part of the day during outings, note that daily temperatures may exceed 110°F.

On this extension, our primary focus is visiting India’s famous cultural monuments—this is not a nature-based experience.

This trip serves as an optional extension following your India Tiger Quest safari. You will travel by private van from either Ranthambore or Delhi to Agra on the final day of your main program to begin the extension.

After visiting Agra, you will drive back to Delhi, where an overnight room will be at your disposal.

You may schedule your departing flight from Delhi any time after 7 pm on the final day of the extension.
