Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Travelers must be able to walk continuously for 2 miles unassisted along a variety of terrain and should expect to walk a total of 2-4 miles per day
Walks range from 1-3 miles each; travelers should expect 2-4 hours of physical activity on most days
Most walks are at a leisurely pace with guided interpretation and frequent photo stops
Terrain includes dirt and gravel paths which sometimes include mild inclines; sand beaches; rough, rocky terrain that may be slippery; and trails that may require stepping from stone to stone to cross running water
For walks longer than 2 miles, shorter alternatives may be available or travelers may opt out of the activity
Longer hikes may be offered for more active travelers at some locations or during free time at the hotel
Travel by van, large ferry, and small boat
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Travelers must be fully mobile with good balance and be physically independent
Daytime temps range from the upper 50s to upper 60s°F in late spring and summer
Fall temps range in the 50s°F, occasionally dipping into the upper 40s
Weather is unpredictable; rain is likely at any point during the trip
Travelers should expect variable conditions and dress in layers, including a waterproof outer layer
