Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Day 6: 90-minute bus ride, 25-minute private charter flight, then 2.5-hour drive to Savegre
Day 8: Three-hour drive to the airport for departure
2x nights San Jose, 3x nights Tiskita, 2x nights Savegre
Hikes range from 1–4 miles at a slow pace, with optional longer hikes available in Tiskita
Trails can be wet, muddy, slippery and uneven, with some inclines, tree roots and rocks to navigate
One boat ride in Golfo Dulce lasts 90–120 minutes and can be bumpy if the sea is rough
Travel by 20-seat coaster bus, boats and private charter flights
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Travelers must be fully mobile and physically independent
Travelers must have good balance and be able to navigate uneven trails with inclines
Daytime temps range from 75–90°F with high humidity
Overnight temps are cooler, especially in Savegre due to elevation
Sun can be intense; activities are often scheduled for mornings and late afternoons
Rain is possible year-round
Savegre: ~6,000 feet; 10,000 feet pass en route
