Why visit the Cotswolds? Well, I live here, so let me try and answer that question. I moved to the area when I was nine. My grandparents had raised their own children on the very edge of the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire, attracted by the open spaces and rural pace of life.
If you want to meet an Englishman in his natural habitat, you go to a pub. Let’s be honest; the great British pub is as much a defining symbol of the country as the monarchy, Rolls Royce and Monty Python.
Why join our journey through the Cotswolds? As a local, there is more than a little pride invested in this itinerary. I love the Cotswolds, and I want to show you the very best the region has to offer. As a minimum standard, I aimed for a trip that I knew my family would enjoy.
