Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Visit five locations over 13 days
Five days include more than four hours of overland travel, including one day with approximately eight hours of driving
Three charter flights
Early mornings and late nights are scheduled to allow maximum time for wildlife viewing and exploration
Hikes range from 2–6 miles on steep, wet, often off-trail slopes. As lemurs can move quickly, travelers who hike at a moderate to quick pace will have the greatest success in viewing wildlife.
Travelers must be able to handle 3–4 hours of physical activity on several days, particularly in the first half of the trip.
Longer hikes may be available for more active travelers
Wet landings require walking a short distance in shallow water
Three privately chartered flights in turboprop aircraft
Travel by minibus and 4x4 vehicle on bumpy, winding dirt, gravel and paved roads
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Daytime temperatures range from 60–100°F, depending on the season. June and July are the coolest months while October and November can be hot and wet.
Rain is possible year-round
Highest elevation reached is around 4,000 feet
