Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Trip Pace
Visit two locations over seven days
Early mornings and late nights are scheduled to allow maximum time for wildlife viewing and landscape photography
Travelers must be able to walk 1 mile unassisted along a variety of terrains
Walks range from a few hundred yards to 1 mile; travelers should expect 1-2 hours of physical activity daily
Most walks are at a leisurely pace with guided interpretation
Terrain includes icy, snow-covered boardwalks and trails that may be uneven and slippery
Activities take place at higher altitudes (up to 7,600' above sea level), where even basic exertion may feel more strenuous
Alternative activities may not be available for travelers who choose to opt out of the scheduled hikes
Travelers should be physically independent and able to maintain balance in order to participate in the planned activities on the itinerary
Travel by van
Frequent vehicle entry and exit based on scenery and wildlife
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
March: daytime temps range from 30–50°F; overnight temps can dip below freezing
November: daytime temps range from 20–40°F; overnight temps often fall to teens or single digits
Yellowstone temps in March and November vary greatly and can be unpredictable
