Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Trip Pace
Visit four locations over eight days
Travelers must be able to walk at least 2 miles unassisted and should expect to walk 1-3 miles per day
Hikes range from 1-3 miles each; travelers should expect 1-3 hours of physical activity daily
Most hikes are at a leisurely pace with guided interpretation
Terrain includes dirt, gravel, boardwalks, and rock trails with uneven surfaces and exposed roots, which may be muddy and slippery
For hikes longer than 2 miles, shorter alternatives may be available; longer hikes may be offered for more active travelers at some locations
Alternative activities are not available for travelers who choose to opt out of the scheduled hikes
Travelers should be physically independent and able to maintain balance in order to participate in the planned activities on the itinerary
Note that we stay in several historic inns that may require navigating steep/narrow stairs and uneven paths

Frequent vehicle entry and exit based on scenery and wildlife
Scenic boat excursions including one sailboat and two motorized boats
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes

Coastal conditions are often cool, windy, foggy, and sometimes rainy
