Fabian Robles Beaudoin2025
A distinguished naturalist guide with a deep-rooted passion for nature and conservation, Fabian found his vocation at an early age. Inspired by his father, a renowned botanical biologist, Fabian’s respect for the natural world forged an ethic that continues to shape his career and life.
Having spent years exploring Costa Rica’s diverse ecosystems, Fabian is an expert in the country’s diverse ecology, especially in the lush rainforests of Tortuguero, where he resides part of the year, and the misty cloud forests of Braulio Carrillo National Park, which he calls home. Between his knowledge and warm, engaging communication style, he engages guests with immersive, educational and unforgettable experiences for travelers of all ages.
In addition to leading wildlife expeditions, Fabian is an avid birdwatcher, nature photographer and hiker. His love for birding has taken him to Ecuador and Panama to discover and document new species for his growing life list. His commitment to bird conservation also led him to volunteer with the Kekoldi Hawk Watch, the second most important site for raptor migration in the Americas. There, he contributed to monitoring efforts, learned firsthand about large-scale bird migration. He also supported vital conservation research.
With a blend of scientific insight, field experience and infectious enthusiasm, Fabian is dedicated to connecting people with the natural world and inspiring a deeper appreciation for its protection.
