The helicopter flight is not demanding, but guests need to be able to get up into the helicopter, which involves two large steps that could be slippery.
Important Information About This Trip
The full helicopters used on this tour carry three passengers. If your party is less than a full helicopter, we will match you with other travelers. If your party is more than a full helicopter, we will take part of your group, then match your remaining travelers with other participants. Occasionally, couples and traveling parties must also be split between different helicopters to accommodate a full group.
The helicopter trip is contingent upon proper weather conditions and the availability of a helicopter that is used primarily for research and emergencies. Should weather and other conditions result in the cancelation of your helicopter trip, you will be refunded in full. The helicopter trips will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
We make every effort to schedule the helicopter excursion at the most convenient time in your itinerary. However, weather conditions may force us to reschedule your excursion, possibly more than once, and possibly at a time that would not be your first choice, to ensure the safest possible experience. This occasionally results in a conflict with dog sledding. Refunds will not be given in the event your excursion is rescheduled. We will not reschedule your excursion in conflict with polar bear viewing.
