Walks range from 1–3 miles each and travelers should expect to walk a total of 2-4 miles per day
Most walks are at a leisurely pace with guided interpretation
Longer hikes may be available for more active travelers at some locations
Travel by van, large ferry, small boat, rigid inflatable boat, and train
Canoe activity in calm water with two travelers per canoe; beginner-friendly and lasts about two hours
Not appropriate for travelers using wheelchairs, walkers or canes
Travelers must be fully mobile and physically independent
Travelers must have good balance and be able to navigate uneven trails with inclines
Daytime temps range from the upper 50s to upper 60s°F in late spring and summer
Fall temps range in the 50s°F, occasionally dipping into the upper 40s
Weather is unpredictable; rain is likely at any point during the trip
Travelers should expect variable conditions and dress in layers, including a waterproof outer layer
