Our itinerary gets you well off the conventional track for unique photo opportunities in a wide range of settings. From the little-visited East Fjords with its bustling puffin colony to the rugged Highlands and thundering South Coast waterfalls, we showcase Iceland's most dramatic features. And our mix of exploratory modes—scenic flightseeing, private marine safaris and 4x4 exploration—offers multiple perspectives for exciting and evocative shots.

In addition to the many diverse locations and subjects on our 2026 itinerary, we have revised our route for 2027 to include additional highlights: We've added a day in the Westman Islands, with a RIB marine safari to view prolific seabirds, including a large puffin colony (making a total of two on this trip). We have also added a day in the Lake Myvatn geothermal area and extended our Skaftafell aerial photography flight from one hour to two hours.

When the crowds of summer are a distant memory and the seabird colonies have headed south, photograph Iceland's wild wonders in solitude amid a palette of fall colors. And with dark night skies returning, we may even get a chance to capture images of the northern lights!
