WEBINAR | Get to Know the Grizzly Bears of the Canadian Rockies

Originally presented June 10, 2024

Expedition Leader Lianne Thompson introduces a few of the region’s famous grizzlies (including “The Boss,” “Split Lip” and “Nakoda”) and explains the measures its national parks have taken to protect both bears and people, from bear-proof garbage cans to bear "re-education programs" to wildlife crossings linking habitat bisected by busy roads.
