    Oct 21, 2015 · Elissa Poma

The people of Namibia possess a hard-to-grasp reverence for their landscape. • Photo Journal: the Tall Trees of Redwood National Park

    Aug 27, 2015 · Candice Gaukel Andrews

Some have always been drawn to the mountains, while others are called to ocean shores. But I constantly feel the pull of forests (I’ve even written a book about them). • My Blog Posts Do Not Seem to Say Much, But I Like Writing Them! | Ben's Musings

    Jul 2, 2015 · Ben Bressler

Dear Traveler, I recently had the opportunity to read Dr. Olaf Malver’s latest blog post, a story of a remarkable Inuit man whom Olaf befriended in Greenland many years ago. In carefully composed prose, Olaf wove together tales of navigating dangerous pack ice and making authentic northern discoveries.

  • Travel Tale: Rite of Passage—Crossing the Drake

    Jun 18, 2015 · Candice Gaukel Andrews

I’ve wanted to go to Antarctica ever since I first heard about it when I was a young child, probably in a children’s book about penguins or on TV. I thought it looked like a winter fairyland: so white, so pure, so beautiful. I dreamed about it for decades.
