Day 1: Arrive in Chengdu and gather for the journey ahead

Day 2: Journey into the Minshan Mountains

  • Travel into the Minshan Mountains, a stronghold for giant pandas and red pandas

  • Pause for panoramic views as 18,000-foot peaks rise above the surrounding landscape

Day 3: Encounter rare Chinese wildlife & a secluded mountain village

Day 7: Travel from panda country to the Tibetan highlands
