Physical Requirements

At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Trip Pace

  • Visit 2 locations over 7-9 days, depending on the itinerary

  • Transfer days involve 5–6 hours of travel

  • Early mornings, typically 5 a.m. starts, short midday breaks and late evenings

Walking & Terrain
  • This trip includes 2 commercial flights; travelers must independently manage themselves and their luggage through busy airports, including climbing stairs to access planes and terminals

  • Day 2 Old Delhi tour involves walking 2–3 miles total, split into short walks through various landmarks, in potential extreme heat and crowds, with limited opportunities to sit and rest

  • Overall, there are limited walking opportunities

Transportation & Vehicles
  • Expect 5–7 hours in a vehicle on transfer and safari days

  • Safari drives take place on rough, dusty dirt roads with little shade; travelers are frequently exposed to full sun

  • Safari vehicles are open jeeps with no seat belts or roof; travelers must climb in using large steps and may find seats cramped, especially for tall or large individuals

  • In Delhi, travel by large bus; elsewhere, small SUVs are used due to road conditions and traffic

  • Daytime temps often exceed 110°F

  • Overnight temps are cooler but still warm
