Group Size
Limited to 8 Travelers

An important feature of our Nunavut polar bear expeditions is the limited group size. Nature is always best experienced in smaller groups, and it is particularly important on this expedition to ensure that our guests have plenty of comfort and easy access to view and photograph the bears.

Our Chartered Flights

To maximize comfort and efficiency, we charter our own round-trip private flights between Churchill and Nunavut. This direct service eliminates commercial airport connections and delays, ensuring a seamless journey and more time to enjoy the Arctic experience.

Included
  • Trip price includes: Accommodations in comfortable hotels and lodges, services of Nat Hab's professional Expedition Leaders, local guides and camp staff, all ground transportation to and from trip activities, all meals from dinner on Day 1 through breakfast on final day, some alcoholic beverages including wine and beer all evenings at camp, some gratuities, airport transfers, all activities and entrance fees, all taxes, permits and service fees.

  • Internal air cost includes: Scheduled flights between Winnipeg and Churchill and charter flights between Churchill and Nunavut.

Not Included
  • Not included: Travel to and from the start and end point of your trip, some alcoholic beverages, some gratuities, passport and visa fees (if any), optional activities, items of a personal nature (phone calls, laundry and internet, etc.), airline baggage fees, airport and departure taxes (if any), required medical evacuation insurance, optional travel protection insurance.

Mandatory Insurance

Since the areas we travel to are remote and wild (that's why we go there!), we require that all guests have, at minimum, medical evacuation insurance for this program. This is for the safety of all guests. We require that your chosen independent insurance plan includes at least $250,000 in medical evacuation coverage.

To protect your investment and to provide peace of mind while you travel, we also strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance. Plans may cover everything from medical treatment to trip cancellations and delays and lost luggage. Please contact our office if you would like more information about the medical evacuation and comprehensive travel insurance policies we offer by calling 800-543-8917.

Getting There & Getting Home

This trip begins and ends in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You must arrive at the Winnipeg International Airport no later than 5 pm on Day 1 in order to receive your loaner cold weather gear and make it to the welcome orientation dinner that evening.

You will meet a Nat Hab representative in the arrivals hall (outside customs) of the Winnipeg Airport if you are staying at the group hotel.

You may depart from Winnipeg at any time on the final day.

Payment & Refunds

Trip prices are per person based on double occupancy and are given in U.S. dollars. Please read our Payment & Refund Policy here.
