Itinerary

Day 1: Begin in Karen beneath the Ngong Hills

  • Settle into the House of Waine in Nairobi’s leafy Karen neighborhood

  • Join your Expedition Leader for a welcome dinner and preview of the safari ahead

Days 2 to 4: Meet the world’s last two northern white rhinos

  • Visit the northern white rhinos with an Ol Pejeta conservation expert

  • Search for the Big Five on day and night wildlife drives

  • Stay at Nat Hab’s Rhino Camp beneath the snowcapped slopes of Mount Kenya

Days 5 to 6: Go behind the scenes of community-led elephant conservation

  • Fly by private charter to Namunyak Conservancy and stay at Nat Hab’s Elephant Conservation Camp

  • Visit Reteti Elephant Sanctuary during an exclusive calf feeding

  • Search for reticulated giraffes, leopards, African wild dogs and other northern Kenya wildlife

Days 7 to 8: Explore a private corner of the Mara from Nat Hab’s Mara East Camp

  • Search for lions, elephants and abundant plains wildlife across an exclusive conservancy

  • Enjoy guided walks, off-road safaris and night drives unavailable in the national reserve

  • Learn how Maasai-led conservation protects migration corridors and wildlife habitat

Days 9 to 10: Search for big cats from Nat Hab’s secluded Serengeti East Camp

  • Explore prime habitat for lions, cheetahs and leopards among granite kopjes and open plains

  • Watch sunrise illuminate the rocky outcrops before morning wildlife drives

  • Look for year-round wildlife where short-grass plains meet acacia woodland

Days 11 to 13: Follow the Great Migration from Nat Hab’s private Migration Camp

  • Search for vast herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles gathering on the plains

  • Look for newborn wildebeest during the annual calving season

  • Watch for lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other predators following the herds

Day 14: Conclude your East Africa safari beneath Mount Meru

  • Gather for a farewell lunch at historic Ngare Sero Lodge

  • Relax in a day room before your evening transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport
