Physical Requirements
At Nat Hab, we provide access to some of the most wondrous nature encounters the world has to offer. Many take place in destinations that are wild and remote, with varying physical demands and limited medical facilities. All trips may not be suitable for every traveler. In order to participate in this itinerary, travelers must comfortably and reliably be able to execute all physical requirements as noted below.

Travelers must be able to hike 2 miles unassisted along a variety of terrain, including steep, wet and slippery rainforest trails.
Hikes range from 2–4 miles, depending on the location of wildlife. As lemurs can move quickly, travelers who hike at a moderate to quick pace will have the greatest success in viewing wildlife.
Travelers must be able to handle 3–4 hours of physical activity on several days of the trip.
For hikes longer than 2 miles, shorter alternatives may be available, but they may not provide the same wildlife encounters. Longer hikes may be available for more active travelers at some locations.
