Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Ecuador before your intimate Galapagos voyage

  • Begin in Quito, Ecuador’s Andean capital

  • Or overnight in coastal Guayaquil at Hotel Oro Verde

Day 2: Fly to the Galapagos and board your intimate catamaran

  • Fly to Baltra and transfer to the pier

  • Board your 16-passenger expedition vessel

  • Sail between the islands aboard a stable catamaran designed for smooth transit

Days 3 to 8: Discover a new island and its wildlife each day

  • Snorkel with tropical fish, sea turtles and sea lions

  • Cruise rocky shores by Zodiac, watching for blue-footed boobies and marine iguanas

  • Hike with expert naturalists among wildlife at ease around people

Day 9: Return to mainland Ecuador after your Galapagos voyage

  • Disembark your expedition vessel after breakfast

  • Fly from the Galapagos to Guayaquil or Quito

  • Spend the afternoon and evening at leisure

Day 10: Fly home or continue to Machu Picchu

  • Transfer to the airport for homeward flights

  • Continue with an optional extension to Machu Picchu
