The Billi resort is our base for exploring Western Australia’s wild Kimberley, providing an indulgent oceanside retreat after each day’s adventures in the bush. Its name is an affectionate nod to the local Indigenous word for the coastal area of Cable Beach—Bilingurr—and the community of Cable Beach lies within easy walking distance. Offering privacy and tranquility in a laid-back setting amid lavish tropical gardens, the Billi features exceptional amenities. We stay in luxurious eco-tents, shaded beneath a large canopy of trees. Bright, airy and extremely spacious, the tents are furnished with plush beds, original artwork and cowhide floor rugs. Temperatures stay comfortable with an overhead ceiling fan and cross-ventilation, while air conditioning is available, too, if needed. En suite bathrooms have a rain shower, a free-standing soaking tub, and a hair dryer. Kitchenettes have a Nespresso coffee machine, fridge and microwave, while a private outdoor deck with banquette sofa invites you to sip your morning brew in the ocean air. Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort, including in the tents. Raised wooden walkways through the gardens connect the accommodations to the stylish swimming pool, accented with a wall of falling water. Relax on a chaise longue or under an umbrella-shaded table, surrounded by lush garden greenery.
