Located near Yellowstone's most famous geyser, Old Faithful, the Snow Lodge is the newest of Yellowstone's full-service hotels and has been recognized with the Cody Award for Western Design. Built in 1999, the heavy timber construction, exterior log columns and cedar shingle roof are integral elements that make the Snow Lodge a modern example of classic national park architecture. Accommodations include lodge rooms and cabins with interior furnishings featuring wildlife and park themes. Full bathrooms, telephones, coffee makers, refrigerators and hair dryers are located in all rooms. In keeping with the natural surroundings of Yellowstone, televisions, radios and air conditioning are not available. Internet service is available for purchase in guest rooms and lobby areas. A full-service dining room, quick-service "Geyser Grill" and Bear Den Gift Store round out the amenities at Old Faithful Snow Lodge.
